Via Experientia: Putting people first.

It’s always nice to get some kind of confirmation that you’re heading for something good. That my senses aren’t way off and that what I’m doing might even be useful in a way. Let me explain.

As you may or may not know, I am doing a graduation project. When I started I had no idea I would be heading for a social interaction tool to be used in education, but hey, there you go. And to find an article in the “newspaper” - metro, wish I could find an online source of this article - , while evaluating the result from my little three-week qualitative reseach with fourteen twelve year olds in a school for media and arts, about the European Commission starting an investigation whether mobile phones are good for our children.

3’s turned 3 today. happy liveday!

founded 5 years ago, but live since 03.03.03, 3 has been pioneer on the 3G network. With recent developments following eachother up at ridiculous speeds, it is an exciting time to be involved in mobile, to be able to shape the future, if only in my own head

Hutchison and Skype already made a deal a long time ago, but it has been sitting there quietly, and not much has happened with it … or so it seemed … until I read this article on limited trials of Skype on a ‘3′ 3G phone in Sweden.

I’m thinking about new services for 3. I’m learning about the technologies involved by talking to many people in the field and within the company, and reading up on information available on the web and in books to get me up to speed of things.

Just noticed I hadn’t written anything for a while.

Travelling to Maidenhead, what a wonderful journey!

Leaving from Paddington heading West, the not so Great Western train takes you past O2 and various marvellous sites *ahem*. If you’re lucky you might spend half an hour longer than planned on the train, like I did yesterday. (All this after after a little underground journey from Angel to Paddington.)
